Ingredients
  

  • 4 bratwurst sausages
  • tsp cooking spray or light oil
  • Sautéed onions (Optional for serving)
  • Bell peppers (Optional for serving)
  • Mustard or sauerkraut (Optional for serving)
  • Steamed vegetables (Optional for serving)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  3. Place the bratwurst sausages in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between each one.
  4. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes, then carefully flip the sausages using tongs.
  5. Continue cooking for another 6 to 8 minutes, or until evenly browned and fully cooked.
  6. If using a thermometer, check that the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Boiling is not required before air frying.
