Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds fresh strawberries, washed and sliced (For the Strawberries)
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup mexican crema (For the Cream Mixture)
  • 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1.2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp mexican vanilla extract

Method

  1. Wash, hull, and slice the strawberries into small bite-sized pieces.
If the strawberries are slightly tart, sprinkle them with 1 tablespoon sugar and let them sit for 10 minutes to release their natural juices.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together:
    Mexican crema
    sweetened condensed milk
    evaporated milk
    vanilla extract
Mix until smooth, creamy, and pourable.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the cream mixture for 20 to 30 minutes.
This helps create the authentic cold and creamy street-style texture.
  4. Divide the sliced strawberries evenly between dessert cups.
Pour the chilled cream mixture over the strawberries until fully coated.
    Serve immediately while cold.
