Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp mild paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Equipment

Method

  1. Prep the chicken
Place the chicken breast on a cutting board and cut it into evenly sized, bite-sized nugget pieces.
  2. Season lightly
Transfer the chicken pieces to a mixing bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan
Heat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly oil the surface if needed to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill the nuggets
Place the chicken nuggets on the hot grill in a single layer. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, turning once, until lightly golden and cooked through.
  5. Check for doneness
The chicken is ready when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the juices run clear.
  6. Rest briefly and serve
Remove from heat and let rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
