Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tbsp dried)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

  1. Preheat the oven
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the ingredients
    In a large bowl, gently combine ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, olive oil, parsley, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Mix just until combined, do not overmix.
  3. Shape the meatballs
    Using your hands or a scoop, shape the mixture into evenly sized meatballs (about 1½ inches each).
  4. Arrange for baking
    Place meatballs evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake
    Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Rest and serve
    Remove from the oven and let rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
