  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard (optional)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard (if using), garlic, olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Season both sides lightly with salt, pepper, and a pinch of paprika.
  3. Skillet Method (Quick Option):

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Baked Method (Hands-Off Option):

    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place chicken in a baking dish and pour the honey mustard sauce over it.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Pour remaining sauce over the chicken and let it simmer (or bake) until thickened and glossy.
  6. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving to keep it juicy and tender.
