Ingredients

  • 1 can Refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Milk (or melted butter, same amount)
  • 3/4 cup Shredded cheddar chees
  • 1/2 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Mild protein (optional, cooked and finely chopped)

Equipment

Method

  1. Preheat the oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the biscuit dough
Separate the biscuits and gently flatten each one using your hands. Keep the dough soft, avoid over-handling.
  3. Mix the filling
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk (or butter), salt, and both cheeses. Stir in mild protein if using.
  4. Assemble
Place a spoonful of the egg mixture onto each flattened biscuit. Fold the edges slightly upward to hold the filling.
  5. Bake
Arrange biscuits evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until biscuits are lightly golden and eggs are fully set.
  6. Cool slightly & serve
Let cool for 3 to 5 minutes before serving to kids.
