Ingredients

  • cups (190 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup nutella chocolate hazelnut spread

Equipment

Method

  1. Prepare the Oven
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Make the Dough
In a mixing bowl, add softened butter and brown sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy. Stir in the vanilla extract, then gently add the flour and mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Shape the Biscuits
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll into a ball. Place on the prepared baking tray and gently flatten slightly. Repeat with remaining dough, spacing biscuits apart.
  4. Add the Nutella Filling
Make a small indent in the center of each biscuit. Spoon 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Nutella into the center. Lightly cover or seal with dough so the filling stays inside while baking.
  5. Bake Until Lightly Golden
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Do not overbake, this keeps the biscuits soft and kid-friendly.
  6. Cool and Serve
Let the biscuits rest on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Serve once slightly cooled.
