Ingredients
  

  • 1 large frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (optional)
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh fruit slices (banana, berries, kiwi)
  • 2 tbsp granola
  • 1 tsp chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp nut butter, for drizzle
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes

Equipment

  • 1 set measuring cups
  • 1 spatula (for scraping blender sides)
  • 1 serving bowl
  • 1 spoon

Method
 

  1. Add the frozen banana and frozen berries to the blender.
  2. Pour in the almond milk, starting with a small amount.
  3. Blend on low speed, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  4. Increase the speed and blend until the mixture is thick and smooth.
  5. If the mixture is too thick, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of liquid at a time and blend again.
  6. Spoon the mixture into a serving bowl and smooth the surface.
  7. Add your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
