  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • salt (to taste)
  • black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water or beef broth

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Carefully drain excess grease if needed, leaving a small amount for flavor.
  3. Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.Stir in tomato paste and water (or beef broth). Mix until everything is evenly combined.
  4. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until thick and flavorful.
