Method
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Break it apart with a spoon and drain excess grease.(Tip: You can skip this step for a dump-and-go version, but browning adds more flavor.)
- Transfer the cooked beef to the slow cooker. Add black beans, kidney beans, corn, diced tomatoes, fire-roasted tomatoes, green chiles, broth, taco seasoning, and ranch seasoning.
- Stir all ingredients gently to combine evenly.
- Cover and cook:Low: 6 to 8 hoursHigh: 3 to 4 hours
- Stir the soup before serving. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
